Midwest HPNA

Seeking President Elect Candidates

Posted over 5 years ago by Janelle Williamson

Good morning all! I hope everyone is well during this holiday season. Our Vice President, Janet Clark, resigned from her position due to other professional committments. Midwest HPNA is now seeking nominees for the position of Vice President. In this role, the Vice President would provide support to the President, assist with facilitating chapter meetings as needed, and participate as a member of the Executive Board. Additionally, should the President be unable to fulfill their term, the Vice President would assume the President role. As your current President, I can say with confidence that I plan to fulfill the extent of my term.

If you are looking for leadership opportunity and to work with respected palliative care professionals, this role is for you! Please consider nominating yourself or a colleague for this role. You will need to be a member of the national HPNA organization as well as a local chapter member in order to serve. We will plan to vote on the VP position at our February 7th meeting, which will be held in Lawrence at Lawrence Memorial Hospital at 6pm.

Thank you for your consideration!

Janelle Williamson

President, Midwest HPNA
